General description

Anti-GPR109 antibody detects endogenous levels of total GPR109 protein.
GPR109B (G-protein coupled receptor 109B) is also called as hydroxycarboxylic acid receptor 3 (HCA3) and HM74 (G-protein coupled receptor). It belongs to the subfamily of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR). GPR109B is expressed in adipose tissue, lung, spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes. It is mapped to human chromosome 12q24.31.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human GPR109.

Immunogen Range: 285-334

Biochem/physiol Actions

GPR109B (G-protein coupled receptor 109B) helps to carry out the activities of D-Phe and D-Trp on neutrophils. HCA3 receptors helps to activate ERK1/2 through PTX (Pertussis toxin)-sensitive Gi (inhibitory G) protein-dependent pathway.
