PSMD14 (proteasome 26S subunit, non-ATPase 14) is a component of the human 26 S proteasome, a multiprotein complex. It is found within the 19S proteasome regulatory particle. It plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-dependent proteolysis of transcription factors.

Anti-PSMD14 antibody produced in rabbit, a Prestige Antibody, is developed and validated by the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) project . Each antibody is tested by immunohistochemistry against hundreds of normal and disease tissues. These images can be viewed on the Human Protein Atlas (HPA) site by clicking on the Image Gallery link. Ubiquitin (Ub) protease PSMD14 (proteasome 26S subunit, non-ATPase 14) is needed for processing poly-Ub formed in the DNA double-strand break (DSB) response. It works in the recombination repair by controlling the end-joining DNA repair. In addition, it has high impact on cell proliferation and senescence.
