Pyrophosphoric acid (diphosphoric acid) may be used in the following processes:
  • As chemical activator in the preparation of activated carbon from leather waste.
  • To modify the surface of calcium hydroxyapatite in order to improve the surface functionality.
  • To modify the surface strontium aluminate nanoparticles potential applications in super-long time in vivo imaging.
  • Synthesis of bis(diisopropylammonium) dihydrogendiphosphate trihydrate (DIPAP).
  • Synthesis of novel 3-methoxybenzylammonium cation diphosphate.
