General description

Nucleic Acid Preservation buffer, microbial DNA free is a ready-made liquid, non-toxic tissue and cell storage reagent that stabilizes and protects cellular RNA and DNA in intact, unfrozen tissue and cell samples. Tested and found to be very effective for microbiome sample preservation. Nucleic Acid Preservation buffer eliminates the need to immediately process samples or to freeze samples for later processing.

Application

NucleicAcid Preservation buffer, microbial DNA free may be used as an effective preserving agent for complex samples at ambient temperature.

Features and Benefits

  • Ready-made solution
  • Preserves quality of DNA and RNA from fresh, unfrozen tissue and cell samples
  • Microbial DNA free for improved DNA analysis, especially important for low biomass samples
  • Immediately inhibits the activity of nucleases
  • Non-toxic, safe to transport
  • Stabilizes samples at room temperature for transport up to 10 days for DNA preservation and 6 days for RNA preservation
  • Effective for microbiome sample preservation
