Biochem/physiol Actions

HSip-1 DA corresponds to the cell-permeable diacetate ester precursor of the sensitive hydrogen sulfide (H2S)-selective fluorescent turn-on probe HSip-1 (Cyclen-AF-Cu; Hydrogen Sulfide imaging probe-1). Once entering cells, HSip-1 DA is hydrolyzed by esterases to form HSip-1, allowing the selective detection of intracellular H2S by fluorescence (Ex 470-490 nm, Em 510-550 nm). For intracellular loading, incubate cells with 5-30 μM Hsip-1 DA in DMEM at 37 °C for 30 min before removing unincorporated probe by washing with HBSS.
