General description

Magnesium oxide (MgO) is a metal oxide formed by processing magnesite. It can also be extracted from sea water. It is industrially produced by the calcination of magnesium carbonate or magnesium hydroxide.

Application

MgO metal powder can be used for a variety of applications such as medical use, refractory materials, energy applications and in the preparation of magnesia nanoparticles.
