General description

Pyridine EMPLURA® grade product) is a heterocyclic compound that is used as a solvent for basic lab work and production applications. It offers adequate specifications with the most common parameters and is available in small pack sizes as well as in bulk quantities.

Application

  • Stripping voltammetric determination of pyridine-2-aldoxime methochloride at the iron(III) doped zeolite modified glassy carbon electrode.: Demonstrates the use of pyridine-based compounds for enhancing the electrochemical detection of chemical agents, showcasing its application in toxicology and chemical analysis (Mehretie et al., 2012).

  • Forensic analysis of anthraquinone, azo, and metal complex acid dyes from nylon fibers by micro-extraction and capillary electrophoresis.: Pyridine is used in the development of analytical methods for forensic applications, illustrating its role in advanced materials characterization and crime scene analysis (Stefan et al., 2009).
