General description

MTC Bio culture tubes are available in 12×75mm (5mL) or 17×100mm (14mL) capacities in either clear polystyrene (PS) or transparent polypropylene (PP). Low density polyethylene (LDPE) snap caps can be attached in two positions. The first position allows for the flow of air both in and out of the tube enabling aerobic culturing. The second position offers a leak-proof and air-tight seal making it ideal for anaerobic culturing and/or sample storage. Tubes are available with caps attached and printed graduations, or without caps and graduation-free.
