General description

COPS5 (COP9 signalosome subunit 5) is a component of COP9 signalosome (CSN) complex. It is associated with multiple signal transduction processes. The CSN complex contains eight subunits (CSN1-CSN8). COPS5 performs in the receptor signaling of several cellular regulators such as p53, c-Jun, p27, Bcl-3, rLHR, progesterone receptor, and integrin LFA-1.

Application
