General description

Sodium molybdate is a white powder that is an environmentally friendly non-oxidizing corrosion inhibitor and Mo source which is widely used in rechargeable batteries and supercapacitors.

Application

Sodium molybdate can be used as:
  • A precursor to prepare MoS2-based electrode materials for sodium-ion batteries with high initial Coulombic efficiency (ICE), high-rate performance, and long cycle life.
  • An electrolyte additive in energy storage devices such as supercapacitors, to prevent the corrosion of stainless-steel collectors and enhance the performance.
  • A source of molybdenum to synthesize MoS2 quantum dots that can be used in fluorescence sensors for ascorbic acid detection.

Obscurins are a family of RhoGEF-containing proteins with tumor and metastasis suppressing roles in breast epithelium. Downregulation of giant obscurins in normal breast epithelial cells leads to reduced levels of active RhoA and of its downstream effectors. Herein, we elucidate
