General description

ASTM® D2887 calibration mix is a mixture of C6-C44 hydrocarbons in cyclohexane.
Aroclor 1248 is a light yellow to yellow-green colored, commercially available polychlorinated biphenyl product liquid mixture, that consists of tri-, tetra-, and pentachloro congeners.

Application

It was used to calculate the retention index of compunds, during experimental study done to identify the corrosion inhibiting long-chain primary alkyl amines, using GC-MS method.
