General description

This high purity Ti3C2Tx product is a two-dimentional (2D) titanium carbide (Ti3C2) MXene material dispersed into propylene carbonate at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, where Tx is Cl, F, and OH. This product is packaged under an inert atmosphere giving it longer shelf life compared to water based dispersions. It may contain traces of Ti2AlC.

Application

This MXene (Ti3C2) dispersion product contains delaminated MXene flakes suspended in Propylene carbonate provide a stable suspension versus aqueous-based dispersions. Propylene carbonate between the high surface area MXene layers may form a continuous interface between the MXene layers and the PC/EC electrolyte used in the Na-ion battery, possibly allowing easier diffusion of Na+ into the electrodes.
