Application

Used to eliminate enzyme inhibition by traces of heavy metals, and to inhibit enzymes that require divalent cations as cofactors. Iron-EDTA enhances damage due to reactive oxygen species, such as depletion of reduced glutathione, formation of methemoglobin, and lipid peroxidation.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Chelates divalent cations.

Horizontal transfer of the TOL plasmid was examined in Pseudomonas putida (Pp) KT2442 micro-colonies on semi-solid agar surfaces. Horizontal gene transfer is usually studied in large populations where all information is based on average estimates of the transfer events in

Agrobacterium-mediated transformation is widely used for gene delivery in plants. However, commercial cultivars of crop plants are often recalcitrant to transformation because the protocols established for model varieties are not directly applicable to them. The genus Brassica includes the oil

A promising technique called chemical absorption-biological reduction (CABR) integrated approach has been developed recently for the nitrogen oxides (NO(x)) removal from flue gases. The major challenge for this approach is how to enhance the rate of the biological reduction step.

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
