General description

Suberic acid bis(N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) is a homobifunctional cross-linking reagent with amine reactivity. Typically coupled to molecules containing primary amine by amide bond buffered at pH 7.5 (6.5-8.5). Suberic acid bis(N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) incorporates an 8-atom linker.

Application

Suberic acid bis(N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) has been:
  • supplemented in pierce lysis buffer used for immunoprecipitation
  • used to conjugate the oligonucleotide standards to gelatin
  • used in cross-linking of ASC (apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain) oligomers
