Application
- Analysis of PFAS in non-fortified human serum: A study by Rodowa and Reiner utilized the National Institute of Standards and Technology′s Standard Reference Material (NIST SRM 1957) to analyze per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in non-fortified human serum, providing a benchmark for environmental contaminant studies (Rodowa and Reiner, 2021).
- Standard reference materials for organic contaminant monitoring: Schantz et al. developed milk and serum standard reference materials for the accurate monitoring of organic contaminants in human samples, aiding in the assessment and comparison of analytical methods in toxicology research (Schantz et al., 2013).
- Method validation for perfluorinated compound determination in human serum: Reiner, Phinney, and Keller presented independent analytical methods for the determination of perfluorinated compounds in human plasma and serum Standard Reference Materials, enhancing reliability in environmental toxicology diagnostics (Reiner, Phinney, and Keller, 2011).
