Fluorescence
Our motto "TOGETHER WE SHINE®" is so important to us, we trademarked it. Our fluorescent probes and labels include both well-known classic dyes and some of the best proprietary series for visualization and detection of a variety of research targets. From cell imaging to antibody conjugation, to flow and spectral cytometry, our catalog has options to take any experiment to its highest potential.
Nucleic Acids
Accurate nucleic acid quantitation is an essential step in DNA and RNA sample preparation and regularly contributes to the success (or failure) of various downstream molecular experiments. Methods commonly used to quantify DNA and RNA include absorbance (UV-Vis) measurements, fluorescence measurements, and real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). While each method presents its advantages, choosing the right technology can save significant time and money and depends mainly on the experimental need and the intended downstream application.
For efficient and effective nucleic acid quantitation, AAT Bioquest offers various products, including Helixyte™ kits for the fluorescent determination of DNA or RNA concentration, and DNA binding dyes and probes for qPCR based quantitation. Of particular interest are our Gelite™ Safe stains: available as concentrates supplied in either aqueous or DMSO solution, these sensitive and low-toxicity dyes can seamlessly replace EtBr in standard protocols once adequately diluted.
Assays & Kits
AAT Bioquest's assay kits span essentially all aspects of cellular and physiological activity, and are compatible with other AAT Bioquest products as well as classic materials. From researcher favorites like our enzymatic Amplite® kits and Buccutite™ protein crosslinkers, to mix-and-read antibody labeling kits, our catalog includes thousands of options to suit both small-scale research and HTS processes.
