Identity of IgG3, lambda light chain is verified by subclass monoclonal antibodies and type specific polyclonal antibodies in immunoelectrphoresis and indirect ELISA assays.

It is secreted by B cells and is found in blood and extracellular fluids and provides protection from infections caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses.
