Used for mounting cells on slides for detection of cell-surface antigens by immunofluorescence. Useful as an anti-fading agent.

제조 메모

Add 2.4 g of Mowiol^® 4-88 to 6 g of glycerol and stir to mix. Add 6 ml of water and stir for several hours at room temperature. Add 12 ml of 0.2 M Tris (pH 8.5) and heat to 50°C for 10 min. with occasional mixing. After the Mowiol 4-88 dissolves, clarify the solution by centrifugation at 5000 x g for 15 min.

재구성

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage or refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 2 weeks at 4°C.
