General description

N-Ethylpentylone, also known as Ephylone, is a stimulant and designer drug found in "bath salts". These synthetic cathinones offer recreational uses that mimic the effects of illegal drugs such as cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD. An internal standard suitable for quantification of N-Ethylpentylone in synthetic cathinone testing methods by LC/MS or GC/MS applications in forensic analysis, urine drug testing, or clinical toxicology.
