Specificity
The antibody reacts with native and heat denatured (non-reduced) human collagen type III. Cross reactions with other types of collagen under native conditions do occur. There is 10% cross reactivity with human collagen type I, 2% cross reactivity with human collagen type II, and 4% cross reactivity with human collagen type IV and V. There is no cross reactivity with other human plasma proteins under native ELISA conditions. Reactivity under denatured conditions has not been examined.
Cross Reactivity Percent
Human collagen type I 10%
Human collagen type II 2%
Human collagen type III 100%
Human collagen type IV and V 4%
Human plasma proteins do not interfere with binding to collagen.

Lung imaging and autopsy reports among COVID-19 patients show elevated lung scarring (fibrosis). Early data from COVID-19 patients as well as previous studies from severe acute respiratory syndrome, Middle East respiratory syndrome, and other respiratory disorders show that the extent

Activated fibroblasts are considered major drivers of fibrotic disease progression through the production of excessive extracellular matrix (ECM) in response to signals from damaged epithelial and inflammatory cells. Nevertheless, epithelial cells are capable of expressing components of the ECM, cross-linking

In this study, we describe the immunocytochemical distribution of the beta 1 integrins (alpha 1 to alpha 6) and their extracellular matrix ligands in human peripheral lymphoid tissues. The results show that within these tissues individual beta 1 integrins are

Transglutaminase type 2 (TG2) catalyses formation of ε-(γ-glutamyl)-lysine bonds between proteins, including those of the extracellular matrix (ECM). Elevated extracellular TG2 leads to accelerated ECM deposition and reduced clearance that underlies tissue scarring and fibrosis. Many transglutaminase inhibitors exist and

Bispecific antibodies can uniquely influence cellular responses, but selecting target combinations for optimal functional activity remains challenging. Here we describe a high-throughput, combinatorial, phenotypic screening approach using a new bispecific antibody target discovery format, allowing screening of hundreds of target
