General description
Progard® S1 Pretreatment Pack ensures that your system lifetime and performance are optimized.
Replacement of consumables when requested by the system is key to maintain the system′s performance within specifications.
Designed for use with Direct-Q®, Elix® and RiOs™ 5/8/16 water purification systems.
Application
Features and Benefits
- The Progard® S1 pretreatment pack is constructed from polypropylene and EPDM.
- Suitable for tap water feed with silt density index (SDI) < 5 and Cl2 < 1 ppm.
- Natural activated carbon media exhibits a high surface area and adsorption kinetic, tolerating feed water containing up to 1 ppm of chlorine.
- To prevent the bacteria proliferation, the natural activated carbon selected has been impregnated with silver, a proven bacteriostatic agent.
- Depth filter media exhibits a high capacity and optimized retention, tolerating feed water with an SDI up to 5.
- Incorporates polyphosphate, specifically selected to avoid scaling without releasing ions.
