Vented Millex®-GS filter units are syringe filters for sterilization of low volume aqueous solutions where venting is desired.

Filter membrane: Hydrophilic MF-Millipore® mixed cellulose esters (MCE), type GS, pore size 0.22 μm
Vent membrane: Hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), pore size 0.03 μm
Housing: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
