General description

Chrysene is a symmetrical polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) with four condensed benzene rings. Incomplete combustion of fossil fuels and other industrial processes results in the production of chrysene which is known to be toxic, mutagenic and carcinogenic to humans.

Application

Chrysene may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in fish bile, air particulate extracts and food samples by various chromatography techniques.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

Caution

Restricted to professional users. Attention − Avoid exposure − obtain special instructions before use.
