Application
SRM 1993 is intended primarily to evaluate the performance of instruments and techniques used to measure the zeta potential and electrophoretic mobility, particularly in electroacoustic methods requiring a high mass fraction and calibration.
It can also be used to calibrate electroacoustic instruments requiring relatively high mass fraction.

Features and Benefits

  • The NISTcertified values are determined using electrophoretic light scattering and valuesare traceable to the International System of Units (SI).
  • Provided with non-certifiedvalues ideal for use in method harmonization, methoddevelopment, and process control.
  • Expiration Certification, instructions for handling, storage, and uses are provided on the NIST certificate.

Other Notes

Please download a current certificate at nist.gov/SRM for current analytes and certified values.
