Unique half area plates can help save on rare and expensive reagents by reducing the amount of reagent needed per well, while still being readable by most standard plate readers.

  • Corning® 96 Well Half-Area Microplate has half the growth area of a standard 96 well plate.
  • Flat bottoms with 190 μL total volume.
  • White walled plates enhance luminescent signals and have low background luminescence and fluorescence.
  • Bottoms are 60% thinner than conventional polystyrene plates.
  • Opaque walls to prevent well-to-well crosstalk.
  • Optically clear flat well bottom permits direct microscopic viewing
  • Can be used for both top and bottom reading instruments.
  • Sterilized by gamma radiation and nonpyrogenic.
  • Hydrophilic surface and negatively charged, optimized for cell attachment and growth.
