MitoBloCK-10 (MB-10) is mitochondrial import blocker of substances requiring inner membrane translocon TIM23 (TIM23) in yeast and mammalian mitochondria. It appears that MB-10 targets Tim44 of the PAM complex. MitoBloCK-10 does not alter respiraton. MB-10 inhibits cardiac development and induces apoptosis in Zebrafish embryos. It inhibits bladder cancer cell growth in vitro and in vivo.
