General description

Conduct high-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals using Nalgene® Oak Ridge High-Speed Centrifuge Tubes made with PTFE® fluoropolymer and Closure made with Tefzel®, specifically suited for chloroform and phenol extractions.
[TM=“Nalgene”] Oak Ridge high-speed centrifuge tubes made with [TM=“PTFE”] fluoropolymer and closure made with [TM=“Tefzel”] can be used to perform high-speed centrifugation of aggressive chemicals. These tubes and closures are specially designed for chloroform and phenol extractions.

Features and Benefits

  • Capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -100°C to +150°C (-148°F to +302°F).
  • Leakproof closures prevent material loss under normal use for most spins <10,000 × g.
  • When used with Nalgene sealing cap assemblies, the 30mL tubes can handle centrifugal forces up to 50,000 x g.
  • Autoclavable, biohazard-safe, and leakproof when utilized with the provided Nalgene closure or PTFE FEP.

  • When equipped with a Nalgene® sealing cap assemblies30mL and 50mL tubes can be spun up to 50,000 x g.

  • Autoclavable/Biohazard/Leakproof† when used with supplied Nalgene® closure /PTFE FEP.
