General description

The Sartorius filter tips of the Biohitfamily are made of polypropylene and feature a polyethylene filter barrier to prevent aerosol and liquid contamination. This filter helps protect against the rist of cross-contamination and reduces maintenance requirements of the pipette. The filter tips are suited for molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture and radioactive work.

These tips have more space between the sample and the filter than conventional filter tips so you do not need to worry about the sample touching the filter whatever the pipetting technique or type of liquid.

Benefits:
  • Pipette foaming liquids like buffers and proteins
  • Pipette solvents
  • Reverse pipetting
  • Multiple dispensing functions of electronic pipettes
