Protocol

Preparation of an LDH standard curve

Use the following protocol as a guideline:

• Put 200 μL LDH solution (2 U/mL in assay medium) in a well of a microplate
• Transfer 100 μL of this solution to the next well
• Add 100 μL assay medium
• Mix
• Start again from step 2
• After preparing 14 wells (concentration range from 1.0 U/mL to 0.0001 U/mL), add 100 μL reaction mixture
• Mix
• Incubate for 30 min at room temperature and then measure.

Troubleshooting

LDH stability in culture medium

LDH is reported to be stable for one week at room temperature, and for three weeks at +2 to +8 °C; freezing should be avoided.
