애플리케이션
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor 164 (VEGF 164) from rat was used for cardiomyocytes culture and Ca2+ transients′ measurement. It was used as a medium M-199 supplement utilized in in vitro incubation for examining the capability of CTS to limit the impact of biologically relevant molecules, in particular epidermal growth factor (EGF), basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF2), and vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) in rat epididymis segment 1 and 2.
생화학적/생리학적 작용
Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor 164 also referred to as VEGF 164 or Vasculotropin is a growth factor that induces endothelial cell growth, vasculogenesis and angiogenesis. VEGF 164 can enhance collagen and fibronectin expression in mesangial cells which in turn stimulates TGF-β1-induced extracellular matrix. It also plays a pivotal role in progressive glomerular fibrosis.
Mitogen for endothelial cells, enhances vascular permeability, activates, and chemoattracts monocytes and is a procoagulant.
기타 정보
164 amino acid variant of rat VEGF.

Previous evidence has shown that sperm maturation is the result of successive events that influence sperm cells as they move through different microenvironments from the caput to the cauda epididymis. The physiological basis for the creation and maintenance of specific

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a secreted mitogen highly specific for cultured endothelial cells. In vivo VEGF induces microvascular permeability and plays a central role in both angiogenesis and vasculogenesis. VEGF is a promising target for therapeutic intervention in

Transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF-beta1) is a potent inducer of extracellular matrix synthesis leading to progressive glomerular fibrosis. The intracellular signaling mechanisms involved in this process remain incompletely understood. The p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) is a major stress signal transducing
