Application

  • [3-(2-Aminoethylamino)propyl]trimethoxysilane has been used in the synthesis of various polyhedral silsesquioxanes, (RSiO1.5)n (SSQO).
  • It can be functionalized onto the mesoporous SBA-15 silica to be used as matrices for controlled drug delivery.
  • It is also used in the synthesis of silane-based polymer, which is used in conducting instant adhesives.
