Tantalum-doped lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide (LLZTO) is a ceramic electrolyte material (lithium ion conductor) and a promising candidate to act as a solid electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries. We offer LLZTO with average particle size of 1-2 µm and high ionic conductivity (10-5 to 10-4 S/cm)

Application

Solid electrolytes conduct lithium ions at room temperature and can potentially replace conventional organic liquid electrolytes, which are flammable and toxic. Tantalum-doping improves the electrochemical stability of lithium lanthanum zirconate (LLZO) by stabilizing the cubic phase at room temperature. We offer Ta-doped LLZTO with compositional uniformity, a small particle size (average D50 1-2 µm), and low aggregation to facilitate densification and ionic transport
