Features and Benefits

MAL-dPEG12-Tris(-dPEG24-acid)3 is a thiol- and amine-reactive, four-arm, monodispersed PEG with one arm shorter than the other three. This product is useful for charge modulation and elimination of renal clearance in drug delivery and imaging applications, among others. The dPEG spacer length from the maleimide olefin to the carbonyl carbon on each of the three long arms is 129 atoms. The average distance from maleimide to carbonyl carbon is 80.4 Å.

The tumor-associated glycoprotein-72 (TAG-72) antigen is highly overexpressed in various human adenocarcinomas and anti-TAG-72 monoclonal antibodies, and fragments are therefore useful as pharmaceutical targeting vectors. In this study, we investigated the effects of site-specific PEGylation with MW 2-4 kDa discrete
