Species Reactivity:
Although VEGF was detectable in non-human primate, feline, and canine plasma, the assay has not been validated for these species.

Cross Reactivity:
The SMC® Human VEGF-A High Sensitivity Immunoasay Kit was not found to be cross-reactive with the following:
  • rhVEGF-B
  • rhVEGF-C
  • rhVEGF-D

  • Minimum of 5 serum samples spiked with average recovery of 103% with a range of 95-110%
  • Minimum of 5 plasma samples spiked with average recovery of 93% with a range of 80-107%

The sensitivity of the Single Molecule Counting (SMC®) technology gives the SMC® Human VEGF-A High Sensitivity Immunoassay Kit unparalleled performance in the quantification of VEGF-A in human serum and plasma.

This new streamline kit has the following features including:
  • Improved options for sample prep and incubation
  • Lyophilization of the standard provides the kit at one storage condition
