General description

25 Aluminium sheets 20 x 20 cm
Our cellulose plates are used to analyze polar substances. An organic sorbent, cellulose is perfect for separating hydrophilic substances by partition chromatography. Typical applications include the analysis of amino acids, carbohydrates, and phosphates as well as nucleic acid and nucleic acid derivatives. We offer cellulose plates in two grades: TLC for conventional and HPTLC for demanding, high-performance separations.

Application

  • Simple and sensitive determination of sulfites in Chinese herbal teas by ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry: This study highlights the utilization of HILIC technology for the sensitive analysis of sulfites in herbal teas, demonstrating the versatility of SeQuant® ZIC-HILIC columns in maintaining the stability and enhancing the sensitivity of such measurements (Yang et al., 2022).

  • Development and validation of LC-MS/MS methods to measure tobramycin and lincomycin in plasma, microdialysis fluid and urine: The research applies HILIC methods to effectively measure antibiotics in various biological fluids, providing an example of the column′s applicability in pharmacokinetic research studies (Pandey et al., 2020).

  • Application of Hydrophilic Interaction Liquid Chromatography for the Quantification of Flavonoids in Genista tinctoria Extract: Demonstrates the use of HILIC for the effective separation and quantification of flavonoids, showcasing the column′s efficiency in handling complex herbal matrices (Sentkowska et al., 2016).

  • HPLC-UV method development for fentanyl determination in rat plasma and its application to elucidate pharmacokinetic behavior after i.p. administration to rats: This study underlines the adaptability of SeQuant® ZIC-HILIC in developing methods for the forensic and pharmacological analysis of potent opioids in biological samples (Almousa et al., 2011).

  • Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography/positive ion electrospray ionization mass spectrometry method for the quantification of perindopril and its main metabolite in human plasma: Highlights the application of HILIC in tandem with mass spectrometry for the analysis of drugs and their metabolites, emphasizing the column′s role in enhancing detection sensitivities (Georgakakou et al., 2010).
