General description

A zwitterionic buffer useful in the pH range of 6.5-7.9. Has a pKa of 7.20 at 25°C.
Absorbance (0.1 M, H2O, 260 nm and 280 nm):≤0.040.
Zwitterionic buffer active in the pH range of 6.5-8.0. Absorbance: ≤0.04 at 260 nm, 1.0 M, H2O; pKa=7.2 at 20°C.
