Emamectin benzoate is a macrocyclic insecticide found to be stable aqueous hydrolysis. Avermectin B1 can be the starting material synthesizing emamectin benzoate. In some occasions, it is used as acaricide for vegetables, fruits and cereals.

Application

Emamectin benzoate may be used as pesticide standard in supercritical fluid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (SFC/MS/MS) method for pesticide residue determination from brown rice, onion, and spinach samples.
