General description

Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards. Alcohol is a common organic solvent that is widely used in chemistry, biochemistry, and molecular biology. It is also utilized in pharmaceutical and perfume manufacture. Due to its occurrence in alcoholic beverages, it is also widely used in in vivo studies on alcohol-related pathology.

Application
