Application

Nalgene® bottle-top sterile filter units are suitable for the filtration of cell culture media, additives, serum, and buffers.

Features and Benefits

Nalgene® bottle-top sterile filter units have the following benefits:
  • Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane is best suited for tissue culture.
  • Faster results and less waiting time.
  • Non-pyrogenic and endotoxin free.
  • PES exhibits low protein binding, resulting in low chances of loss of protein from media.
  • PES is hydrophilic and thus does not require external wetting agents or surfactants.
  • PES offers higher aqueous flow rates.
  • PES has greater strength, capacity, and chemical resistance than cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, or nylon.
  • Polystyrene body with graduations.
