CYP3A4 oxidizes more than 90% of marketed drugs through various metabolic processes.CYP3A4 mRNA expression is upregulated in pediatric Crohn’s disease. Moreover, it provides high tolerance against herbicides such as mefenacet, amiprofos-methyl, pyributicarb, norflurazon, trifluralin, pendimethalin, chlorotoluron, and chloroacetamides.
