General description

Our ready-to-cast LiFePO4 slurry is a liquid-type dispersion, made up of battery-grade lithium iron phosphate active material, conductive additives, binder, and organic solvent. For the active material, our scientists selected high-purity olivine lithium ferrophosphate with a controlled particle size. The slurry is processed under stringent conditions to maintain low moisture content, which is key for fabricating smooth pinhole-free cathodes.

Application

Our ready-to-cast LiFePO4 slurry is designed to be used for casting films of lithium iron phosphate cathodes for cobalt-free secondary lithium-ion batteries and can be used directly for blade-coating or slot-die coating onto aluminum foil current collectors. Resulting from precise formulation, our ready-to-cast LiFePO4 slurry is stable and processable, simplifying the process to form defect-free cathodes.
The liquid-type dispersion is made up of a common active material, a conductive agent, a binder and a solvent that researchers can readily use for processing lithium-ion battery electrodes.
