Application

For sterility testing of biologicals and for cultivation of aerobic and anaerobic organisms. Any increase in the oxygen content is indicated by a color change of redox indicator resazurin to red.

Preparation Note

Suspend 29.75 g in 1000 ml distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 25°C and store in a cool dark place preferably below 25°C.

Other Notes

Medium for aerobes and anaerobes

Footnote

We offer two media types: the superior granulated GranuCult® and the cost-efficient powdered NutriSelect® culture media, depending on your needs.
The designations basic, plus, or prime are added to indicate the quality control level, from basic quality control to standard QC plus to prime for full regulatory compliance.
