パーコール®は、緑藻、脱落膜間質細胞および雄鶏精子の異なる集団からの完全な葉緑体の密度勾配遠心分離で使用されています。
パーコールは、ポリビニルピロリドン（PVP）でコーティングされた直径15～30 nm（23% w/w水溶液）のコロイドシリカ粒子から構成されます。 これは、細胞、細胞小器官およびウイルスの単離に使用できる非毒性低粘度で低浸透圧の濃度勾配を確立するために使用されます。これは、E. coliから内膜と外膜の小胞を分離するために使用されています。 パーコールは勾配全体を通して等浸透圧であり、非毒性であり、そして精製された物質から容易に除去されます。
パーコールは直径 15～-30 nm(水中(23% w/w)のコロイド状シリカ粒子からなり、ポリビニルピロリドン(PVP)でコーティングされています。 細胞の分離、細胞小器官の分離に使用します。
