Kinases, alternatively referred to as phosphotransferases, form an extensive family of enzymes responsible for transferring phosphate groups from the high-energy donor molecule ATP to their designated substrates. This family of enzymes is renowned for its role in regulating a myriad of cellular processes, with the protein kinases constituting the largest subgroup. In humans, 518 distinct kinases have been identified, and a substantial portion of human proteins, up to 30%, undergo modification by these kinases. 원리

The Kinase Assay Kit provides a simple and rapid method for assaying kinase activity and high-throughput screening for kinase inhibitors. This homogeneous microplate-based assay involves incubating the kinase with a single working reagent, in which ADP is enzymatically converted to ATP and pyruvate, which is quantified using a fluorometric (Ex = λ530 nm/λEm = 590 nm) assay method.
