일반 설명
RPMI 1640 Medium was developed at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in 1966 by Moore and his co-workers. A modification of McCoy′s 5A Medium, it was formulated to support lymphoblastoid cells in suspension culture, but it has since been shown to support a wide variety of cells that are anchorage-dependent. Originally intended to be used with a serum supplement, RPMI 1640 has been shown to support several cell lines in the absence of serum. It has also been widely used in fusion protocols and in the growth of hybrid cells. This medium is suitable for culturing human normal and neoplastic leukocytes.

애플리케이션
RPMI-1640 Medium has been used:
- to culture Mantle cell lymphoma cells
- to culture mouse podocytes
- in the extraction of whole bone marrow from rat Femur and tibia bones
기타 정보
Phenol red has been shown to interfere with the growth of some cells at clonal densities.
Use this medium when working with stem cells or when growing cells at low densities.
Also recommended for in vitro diagnostics use.

Antigen presenting cells (APCs) in the thymus play an essential role in the establishment of central tolerance, i.e. the generation of a repertoire of functional and self-tolerant T cells to prevent autoimmunity. In this study, we have compared the transcriptomes

Monocytes are important for innate immunity and include the classical (CD14brightCD16negative), intermediate (CD14brightCD16dim) and non-classical (CD14dimCD16bright) monocyte subsets. The quantification of these functionally different subsets in peripheral blood may become useful for diagnosis and follow-up in human diseases. The aim

Alterations in RNA splicing are associated with different malignancies, including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors. The RNA splicing modulators such as FD-895 and pladienolide B have been investigated in different malignancies to target/modulate spliceosome for therapeutic purpose. Different cell lines

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small non-coding RNA molecules that regulate important intracellular biological processes. In myasthenia gravis (MG), a disease-specific pattern of elevated circulating miRNAs has been found, and proposed as potential biomarkers. These elevated miRNAs include miR-150-5p, miR-21-5p, and miR-30e-5p

Ubiquitin signalling regulates most aspects of cellular life, thus deregulation of ubiquitylation has been linked with a number of diseases. E3 ubiquitin ligases provide substrate selectivity in ubiquitylation cascades and are therefore considered to be attractive targets for developing therapeutic
