General description

Protein A affinity adsorbent possessing a high antibody-binding capacity is significantly used for the purification of biopharmaceuticals. Protein A agarose beads contain sufficient covalently-linked Protein A for a binding capacity of 20+/-2 milligrams human IgG per 1 milliliter.

Application

Protein A Agarose has been used in immunoprecipitation. It is suitable for the purification of human, mouse, and rabbit immunoglobulins.

Quality

routinely evaluated by immunoprecipitating phosphotyrosine containing proteins from an EGF-stimulated A431 cell lysate with Anti-Phosphotyrosine antibody (05-321)

Physical form

water containing 0.01% thimerosal

Storage and Stability

1 year at 4°C
