Application
The lipids in frozen human serum are a standard reference material (SRM) that is used for evaluating the accuracy of clinical procedures for the determination of total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL)-cholesterol, and total glycerides in human serum. It is also used for validating working or secondary reference materials.
Other Notes
- Details on expiration, storage, safety, usage, and source are provided in the NIST certificate.
- Notes on biomaterials, disposal, and transport are documented in SDS.
Certified for the analytes listed below.
Total Cholesterol, Total Glycerides
Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.
HDL-Cholesterol, LDL-Cholesterol, Total Cholesterol
See certificate for values and more details at nist.gov/SRM.
